On September 19, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been

signed between Ihsan Trust (IT) and Al-Kawthar University ( AL- KU) Karachi to provide

the Interest-Free Loan facility to the deserving students of AL-KU on purely “Need-Cum-Merit” basis.

The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob – Vice Chancellor Al-Kawthar University and Mr. Fayyaz Ur Rehman Khan – General Manager Ihsan Trust.

The signing ceremony was also witnessed by other senior members of AL- KU including Dr. Afaq Ali Khan –  Associate Professor, Director Academics, Dr. Ashfaq A. Malik – Director QEC, Mr. Immad Uddin – Director Facilities & Services, Registrar Dr. Rida Ahmed and others. Besides them, Mr. Shoeb Muhammad Shaikh RGM-Meezan Bank Ltd and  Ms Samina Akseer – Marketing Manager – Ihsan Trust also witnessed the signing ceremony.

Al-Kawthar University is established to bridge the gap in modern education by integrating Islamic principles with contemporary learning.

The university aims to provide a balanced education, combining rigorous academic training with the moral and ethical values inspired by the

teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the early generations of Muslims. 

Through a carefully designed curriculum, experienced faculty, and a supportive learning environment, Al-Kawthar University is dedicated to

producing graduates capable of contributing positively to society while upholding Islamic values.

Ihsan Trust continues to pursue its vision of providing the Interest-Free Loan facility for Professional and Higher Education in

Pakistan to at least 10,000 students across Pakistan by 2028, enabling a “Need-Blind Culture” in Pakistan’s professional and academic landscape.
