Empowering Education through Meezan Bank’s Charity Fund
ABOUT US
A professionally managed, independent, non-profit organization registered under the Trust Act 1882, which works on the principles of Islam to provide sustainable solutions to contemporary social issues in Pakistan. Ihsan Trust was established in 2010 on the guidance of Meezan Bank’s Shariah Board for effective distribution of Meezan Bank’s charity funds and to revive the concept of Waqf. Meezan Bank remains the biggest supporter of Ihsan Trust as it donates a significant portion of its charity funds to Ihsan Trust and has facilitated its operations since inception.
Be it education, health, community welfare or Microfinance, Ihsan Trust aims to create a positive change in every aspect with the major focus on higher education. Ihsan Trust is the largest private Interest-Free Loan provider for higher education in Pakistan.

- MBL regularly provides charity funds to Ihsan Trust
- Ihsan Trust is stationed at Meezan House & MBL supports with all the administrative & operational Facility.
- MBL supports and looks after the operational costs of Ihsan Trust as well.
- Each year, around 500 interviews of Ihsan Trust take place at Meezan House and also around 800 students each year open their Bank Accounts in MBL thus increasing financial inclusion of students.
- Joint awareness sessions about Islamic Finance are also conducted at Meezan House and at the universities.
