Ihsan Trust conducted another "Two-Day specialized Course on Fundamentals of Islamic Finance" held at ICAP. On August 01 & 02, 2025, a special two-day course on “Fundamentals of Islamic Finance” was conducted at ICAP, made possible through the joint collaboration of Ihsan Trust, Meezan Bank Limited and ICAP. The initiative saw active participation from 70+ students of ICAP and different universities of Karachi, who attended the sessions with great enthusiasm. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem. Mr. Fayyaz Ur Rehman Khan - General Manager of Ihsan Trust, introduced the organization and shared that Ihsan Trust services of providing the interest-free loan facility to over 4,800 students across more than 180 universities and Professional bodies nationwide. Madam Shumaila Halu, representing ICAP, shared insights about the CA program and various educational schemes and opportunities available to students. The main session was conducted by Mufti Zubair Ahmed Sahib, Shariah Board Member at Meezan Bank Ltd. The whole course, focusing on concepts such as Riba (interest), Maisir (gambling), Gharar (uncertainty), and the core principles of Islamic financial systems.
